Thank you, Steve, for stepping up to the plate and making a run to defeat Mesnard! We will always support you and are heart broken with the results of this LD-17 AZ Senate race 2018.

Now our focus is on this ridiculous GOP lawsuit to limit mail-in ballots. There were polling place problems in Chandler and in Democrat-likely precincts on Election day.

    Take care,

    Dear Representative/Senator Weichert,

I am a constituent in your district and I would like to discuss significant issues pending in Arizona regarding health care and parental choice regarding vaccines.

Please let me know what your views are as soon as you have a chance, before Tuesday would be great!

    To the Honorable Steve Weichert:

Hello, my name is Heather Lenk, and I am a registered voter in the state of Arizona. I would like to know what your opinions are in regards to the following issues:

    1) The conservation and management of Arizona’s wildlife, including species that are threatened or endangered.

    2) The listing of the Mexican gray wolf (Canis lupus baileyi) as an endangered species and its recovery program.

    3) The legality of “coyote calling contests” in Arizona and the ethics/morality of these hunting competitions.

Thank you for taking the time to explain your positions on these issues, and I am looking forward to receiving your response.

    Sincerely,

    Heather Lenk

Being from California and being a Democrat, do you support illegal immigration? Should English be the official language and should it be enforced in elections? Do you believe in California Democratic Candidate Gavin Newsom’s proposal to allow health care for all residents of California whether they be legal or illegal? Do you think that this would be good for Arizona?

Hello. Thank you for running for office. I am a teacher and have a question about the #INVESTinED pledge. How can the pledge state that there will be a permanent teacher salary schedule? Each district has its own bonds and overrides. Each district sets its own schedule. There are areas of Arizona where it costs way more to live than other areas. As a teacher, I would like to understand this more. Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my question.

Hi Steve – I’ll be at the LD-17 office on Sunday 09/16 and want to know if there are Kyrsten Sinema signs there? I got an email yesterday from her campaign (finally) and large signs are available. You can contact: Joseline Mata her Deputy Political Director 520-302-3060.

Also, have you considered the Legalize Recreational Marijuana voters and contacted them? I noticed you might be in favor of this and they come from all sides of the aisle. Just an idea!

We are currently working on an important initiative for the upcoming election cycle, producing voter guides for our community members to help them better understand where candidates stand on issues affecting our community.

This candidate guide will be distributed both digitally and in print to mosques, organizations and individuals across the state. Dear Candidate, Thank you for taking the time to review and complete the 2018 CAIR-AZ Candidate Guide Questionnaire. In the State of Arizona, we have a thriving and growing Muslim community, who seek to engage with and learn more about those candidates who seek to represent them. With well over 30 mosques, dozens of Muslim organizations and estimates of over 50,000 Muslims in the state – projects like this will be vital to ensuring that voters are informed on key issues concerning not only our community – but all Arizonans as well. This candidate guide will be distributed both digitally and in print to mosques, organizations and individuals across the state. We hope that you will take the time to answer this short questionnaire to help us better educate our communities on these issues, and where their candidates for elected office stand. We thank you for your time. Sincerely, The CAIR-Arizona Team

If you need a good affordable CRM system but want to migrate away from Republican-friendly NationBuilder, @blueutopia might be able to help. Our Core CRM system helps you integrate all your supporters from any system – facebook, ActBlue, online signups, and more.

Over 600 Democratic and Progressive campaigns have turned to BlueUtopia to help them consolidate data, communicate, engage, and grow their campaigns. BlueUtopia is easy to use, less expensive, and we only serve Democrats/Progressive causes.

I welcome you to give us a call (866.297.4904) or reach out online. We hope to hear from you and good luck in November!

We met at the Islands get-together. I received an email from Tom Flora implicating Mesnard in a ‘kill-bill’ move on the Tax Relief Act, SB1268 measure for Seniors.

I forwarded the email to Jennifer Pawlick.

Like ALL emails I get, I don’t really know fact-from-fiction here so I’ll need to get enlightned.

    Thanks

I know you and others like “You Better Believe We Need Steve.” I’d like to keep doing things, but I feel I need guidance from you. I don’t want to do anything that might be negative. Also, when does your campaign office open and where will it be?

Mr. Weichert, Steve Yarbrough has supported Governor Ducey’s usurping of the Arizona legislature, the governor’s refusal to involve elected representatives in the budget process, and the governor’s wish to decimate education and economic growth. In short, Senator Yarbrough supports the governor’s wish to be a CEO, bough and paid for by the Koch Brothers, rather than a governor that is accountable to the people and invested in making the state a better place rather than a third world dictatorship. How will you hold the governor accountable and what will you do to ensure the governor is following the state and federal constitution instead of legislating on his own independent of the legislature.
